A 2.6-magnitude earthquake shook Cape Mendoncino in Northern California Saturday afternoon, Dec. 28, where two fault lines begin that eventually turn north and run parallel with the Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 2:19 p.m., 35-miles south to southwest of Eureka, CA.
