Cape Mendocino Quake, Jan. 2

A 4.0 earthquake shook the Cape Mendocino area of Northern California Wednesday evening, Jan. 1, 2014. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 10:23 p.m., 38-miles south to southwest of Eureka, CA where two fault lines enter the Pacific Ocean and eventually turn north to run parallel with the Oregon Coast.
