Cape Mendocino Quake, Sept. 8

A magnitude 3.5 earthquake shook the Cape Mendocino area of Northern California Sunday, Sept. 7, 8:45 a.m., where two fault lines begin and eventually run parallel with the Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located 42-mile southwest of Eureka, CA.
