Capsizing off Central Coast, Dec. 20

Two were rescued another died during a capsizing off the Central Oregon Coast Friday, Dec. 17. According to a report from the U.S Coast Guard, the 22-foot long boat capsized about one mile north of the Yaquina Bay jetty at Newport. A male and female were rescued from the cold waters, but a third individual, a male, was unresponsive and declared deceased when brought to shore.
