City of Coos Bay release – The City has contracted with Tom E. Gayewski Construction, Inc. for the replacement of the library roof. Construction is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, October 27th and continue through November 15, 2021. Please use caution when in the construction area as workers will be maneuvering around the construction site (525 Anderson Avenue) along Anderson Avenue and S. 5th Street. Bennett Street between S. 5th and S. 6th Street will be closed during work hours, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The library will remain open during construction.
