On the evening of March 20, 2020 Oregon Gov. Kate Brown urged Oregonians to “stay home, stay healthy” in an effort to save lives during the coronavirus pandemic. Out of concern for the wellbeing of our citizens and our staff and in accordance with Gov. Brown’s, Oregon Health Authority’s and Coos Health and Wellness’ advice the Coos Bay Public Library will suspend services starting Monday, March 23, 2020 until further notice. Unfortunately we won’t be able to continue curbside pickup, regular phone services, programming, or use of conference rooms during this time. Staff will be monitoring emails and your encouraged to direct all questions to bayref@coastlinelibrarynetwork.org or leave a message at 541-269-1101 x2 and we will return your call as soon as possible. Despite the closure of the library, digital services, including Library2Go and hoopla will continue to be offered. For up to date information, please check the library’s website www.coosbaylibrary.org or the library’s Facebook page.
