CCSO Alarm Permits, March 23

Simplisafe, CCSO release.  Recently the Coos County Sheriff’s Office has started receiving alarm permit applications from customers of Simplisafe that are not required to have an alarm permit through the Coos County Sheriff’s Office. Residents whose addresses fall within the unincorporated areas of Coos County are required to obtain an alarm permit through the Coos County Sheriff’s Office, should they currently have or plan on installing an alarm system. This includes the citizens within the city limits of Lakeside as well. If you have a Simplisafe alarm and are uncertain if you reside in an area where you are required to have an alarm permit please call us before you send money. (541) 396-7801, Those citizens, whose addresses fall within the city limits of Coos Bay, North Bend, Coquille, Myrtle Point and Powers, should contact their city government to verify if an alarm ordinance exists and if an alarm permit is required.
