News release CCSO. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office is sorry to announce that we are still unable to process fingerprints for Concealed Carry permits and employment verification. We will not be able to open back up as we indicated on January 25rd and at this time have no date available. Once a date for the completion of this project is known, the Sheriff’s Office will open its office to the public on a couple of Saturdays to make up for the backlog. These dates will be announced later. It is known at this point that there will be no service on February 17th, (if the fingerprint machine is back on line by then, which it should be), due to personnel being gone to training. The Sheriff’s Office is sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and asks that until further notice anyone coming in for this service call first for any updates.
