Assault IV
McKenna Lane, CCSO release – On 9/3/19 at approximately 5:49 PM, Deputies were dispatched to a Disturbance occurring on McKenna Lane in Coos Bay. Deputies arrived on scene and contacted a female subject out front of the residence with visible signs of physical injuries to her face and arm. The subject stated she had a verbal altercation with her step mother, which turned physical. After contacting both parties involved, along with multiple witness statements, Deputies placed 38 year old Amber Rae Phillips under arrest for Assault IV – Domestic. Phillips was transported to Coos County Jail where she was lodged.
Burglary II
F-Dock, Charleston, CCSO release – On 9/4/19 at approximately 2:41 AM, Deputies were dispatched to the Charleston Boat Basin area for a disorderly male subject refusing to leave. Upon arrival Deputies were informed by Port Security that the male subject had walked towards the Coast Guard Facility across the street. Deputies entered the Coast Guard Facility and upon clearing the building, Deputies found the male subject, later identified as 36 year old Lance Wingert sitting in the cafeteria eating a plate of food and drinking a soda. Wingert had attempted to change his appearance by taking off his rain coat and putting on a Coast Guard Jacket he found inside. Wingert was transported to Coos County Jail where he was lodged.
