Domestic Assault
SW 8th St., CB, CCSO release – On August 24, 2019, at about 7:38 pm, Deputies responded to SW 8th Street in Coos Bay for a reported assault. The caller reported her mother had thrown a table at her, injuring her. Upon arrival, the Deputy found the caller in the front yard with an injury to her head. The caller stated she and her mother, 53 year old Jeri Lynn Knight had been in a verbal argument. During the argument the caller stated Jeri picked up a portable wooden table and threw the table at the caller. The caller suffered a gash to the top of her head. Jeri was transported to the Coos County Jail, where she was lodged on the charge of Assault in the 2nd Degree.
Domestic Assault
Mexeye Lp., CB, CCSO release – On August 24, 2019, at about 2:46 am, Deputies responded to Mexeye Loop in Coos Bay for a reported assault. The caller had locked herself in her bedroom. Upon the Deputy’s arrival, the Deputies found the caller still locked in the bedroom of the residence and 26 year old Nicholas Skylor Summers in the apartment. The caller reported Nicholas had become angry after she had awoken him and punched her leg. Upon concluding the investigation, Nicholas was placed under arrest for Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree. Nicholas was transported to and lodged in the Coos County Jail.
