Saddler Rd., CCSO report – On August 26, 2018, at about 11:35 Pm, Jennifer Griswold called the Coos County Sheriff’s Office and reported her ex-boyfriend, Steven Emery, was at her residence. There is a valid restraining order in place, which prohibits Steven from having any contact with Jennifer or her residence. Steven was found at the property and placed into custody for Violation of Restraining Order. There was also a valid warrant for Steven’s arrest for Fail to Appear on Assault IV. Steven Emery, 30 years old of Coos Bay, was arrested and transported to the Coos County Jail. Steven was booked and lodged on $17,500.00 bail.

Melcalf Dr., CCSO report – On 08/25/2018, at approximately 9:39 pm, Coos County Sheriff’s Office Deputies stopped a vehicle for defective equipment on Charleston Road near Metcalf. During the stop it was determined the driver of the vehicle, who was identified as Cassandra Olson had a suspended license and was on Parole for possession of a control substance. During the investigation, Deputies asked for and received from Olson consent to search her person and the vehicle to search for illegal items. During a search of a purse, Deputies located what they believed to be methamphetamine, packaging material, scales and numerous pills. Twenty-eight year old Cassandra Olson and her passenger 22-year old Mario Castro Roman, both from North Bend, were both arrested for numerous charges. Olson was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Distribution of a Controlled Substance and a detainer from her probation officer. Roman was arrested for Possession and Delivery of a controlled substance. While in the jail, Roman attempted to flush down a toilet what is suspected of being methamphetamine and packaging materials. Both subjects were booked into the Coos County Jail with a bail of $125,000.00 dollars.
