On February 26th, 2024, around 2:30 pm, Coos County Dispatch received a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on Fairview Road in Coquille. Deputy B. Freerksen responded to investigate. When Deputy Freerksen arrived, he located a Silver Chevy Silverado parked on the side of the road out of traffic. The driver was identified as Joshua Harper (35) of Coos County. Dispatchers informed Deputy B. Freerksen that there was an active Parole Warrant for Mr. Harper’s arrest. Mr. Harper was arrested and taken to the Coos County Jail for the Parole Warrant. The vehicle that Mr. Harper was driving was towed from the scene.
