Domestic Disturbance
Lakeside, CCSO release – On March 12, 2020 at about 7:04 PM, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office received the report a Domestic Disturbance involving two males allegedly pointing firearms at each other in the area of N 11St in Lakeside. Deputies arrived on scene and during the investigation it was found that Mr. Champagne was wielding a firearm at another family member. The firearm was seized for evidence. Further investigation revealed that Mr. Champagne was a Felon from another state. Deputies located two more firearms inside Mr. Champagne’s residence. Family members stated they knew he was a Felon and could not have firearms in his possession. Mr. Champagne was arrested and booked into the Coos County Jail for Felon In Possession-Firearm x 3. Mr. Champagne will also be referred to the District Attorney’s Office for Unlawful Possession of Firearms.
