CCSO release – Date / Time: March 8th, 2023 at 3:59 p.m.; Case Number(s): S23-05286; Classification: Warrant Service; Location: Lakeside area; Suspect(s): Richard Clemons (44); Information to be released: On March 8th, 2023 at 3:59 p.m. Deputies Davis and Churchill were conducting a security check of the Lakeside area. During the security check the deputies observed a homeless camp near the entrance to the Eel Creek Campground. The deputies conducted foot patrol and contacted several occupants of the homeless camp. One individual was contacted at a tent who was identified as Richard Clemons (44) years of age from Lakeside. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center advised deputies on scene that Mr. Clemons had two outstanding warrants for his arrest. Mr. Clemons was taken into custody and transported to the Coos County Jail where he was booked on the outstanding warrants.
