DUII
News release CCSO. On 11/11/2017, at approximately 1302 hours, Deputies were dispatched to an accident that occurred at milepost 2 on Fairview Road. When deputies arrived on scene they found that two subjects had been in the vehicle at the time of the accident. It was also determined that both subjects had been consuming alcoholic beverages prior to the vehicle accident. While speaking with both occupants it was determined the driver was Teena Ferrerra from Manteca California and the passenger was Robert Sanborn of Coquille Oregon. While speaking with both subjects it was determined that Teena was driving towards Coquille. While doing so, she and Robert got into a verbal altercation and he pushed the steering wheel which caused them to crash into a tree. While getting information, Teena became uncooperative and was trying to grab Robert. A Deputy stood between both parties and Teena hit the Deputy in the leg. Both parties were arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. Robert was transported to the Coos County Jail by the Coquille Police Department who had arrived on scene. Teena was transported by the Sheriff’s Office. When in the jail, both were offered field sobriety test and they both refused. Teena and Robert were both requested to provide a breath sample on the intoxilyzer and they both refused. Robert was booked and lodged for DUII and Disorderly Conduct II, Reckless Endangering and Reckless Driving with a $20000.00 bail. Teena was booked and lodged for DUII, Reckless Endangering, Reckless Driving and Harassment; she had a bail of $25000.00.
Criminal Trespass
News release CCSO. At approximately 10:40 AM on Nov. 11, Deputies with the Coos County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a possible criminal trespass at 92679 Libby Lane in Coos Bay. This home had gone through foreclosure and when the real estate agent went to check the home, they heard a guitar being played inside. Deputies responded to the scene. The door had been left open by the real estate person and deputies entered the foreclosed him and found Gregory Keuhne, 48 of Coos Bay inside the residence. The home had been his prior to foreclosure. Deputies arrested Kuehne for criminal trespass. Deputies seized approximately 1.3g of Methamphetamine, and a smoking device next to the guitar which had been played. Kuehne was taken to the Coos County Jail for Criminal Trespass and Probation Violation. Mr. Keuhne was released on his own recognizance.
Criminal Trespass
News release CCSO. At approximately 7:45 AM, on Nov. 11, Deputies with the Coos County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a possible criminal trespass at 310 Airport Way in Lakeside. This home was a vacation rental which had been vacant. Deputies responded to the residence. In a search of the residence with the caretaker, deputies found Dustin Young, 37 years old of Coos Bay and Ryan Milburn, 36 years old of Bend inside the residence. Both were taken into custody and deputies seized drug paraphernalia inside the residence belonging to the pair. This narcotic evidence consisted of syringes, spoons, smoking device with suspected methamphetamine residue, and a small weight measure scale. Young and Milburn were transported to the Coos County Jail and bail set at $10,000 each. Both were released on their own recognizance. The suspected drug evidence will be sent to the Oregon State Police Crime Lab for testing.
