CCSO report, Nov. 27

Sumner Lane, CCSO release – On November 24, 2018 at approximately 5:39 P.M., a Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy observed a vehicle on Highway 101, driving ten miles per hour under the speed limit. In addition, the vehicle was failing to maintain it’s lane and the vehicle’s license plate did not have current valid tags. A traffic stop was initiated on near Coos Sumner Lane. During the course of the contact, it was discovered that 40-year old Burton W. Soto was driving while suspended and had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Lebanon, Oregon for menacing, criminal mischief in the third degree and interfering with making a report. Soto was placed under arrest without incident, and was transported and lodged at the Coos County Jail.
