CCSO release Date / Time: September 25th, 2023, around 5:36 pm – Case Number(s): 202300028696; Classification: Warrant Service; Location: South Empire Blvd, Coos Bay; Suspect(s): Marie Williams (34). Observant Deputy recognizes a local woman and arrests her for an Active Warrant. On September 25th, 2023, around 5:36 pm, Deputy Z. Smith was conducting regular patrol duties in the Empire District of Coos Bay. During this time he observed a woman walking along South Empire Blvd toward American Market. Deputy Smith knew the woman to be Marie Williams (34) of Coos County. During a records check, Coos County Dispatch alerted Deputy Smith that Ms. Williams had an Active Local Warrant for her arrest. Deputy Smith contacted Ms. Williams and placed her into custody for the Active Warrant. Ms. Williams was transported to the Coos County Jail, where she was booked and lodged. CCSO release – Date / Time: September 24th, 2023, around 9:43 pm; Case Number(s): 202300028618; Classification: Warrant Service; Location: Myrtle Wood Factory, North Bend; Suspect(s): Aaron Vonzell (43). Deputies Investigating a disturbance arrest a local man on a warrant. On September 24th, 2023, around 9:43 pm, Coos County Dispatch received a report of a disturbance taking place near the Myrtle Wood Factory on Highway 101 in North Bend. Deputies Z. Smith, Sattler, and Mong responded to the area. During his investigation, Deputy Smith learned that the occupants of a vehicle along the roadway were engaged in a loud verbal argument. One of the occupants, Aaron Vonzell (43) of Coos County, told Deputy Smith that he had an active warrant for his arrest. Dispatch confirmed that Mr. Vonzell did have an Active Warrant for his arrest for failure to pay child support. Deputy Smith determined that the disturbance was only verbal in nature and arrested Mr. Vonzell on the warrant. Mr. Vonzell was transported to the Coos County Jail where he was booked on the warrant.
