Robbery/Assault, Woods Way Ln., Bandon

O’Neal (46); Woman arrested on several charges after being found trespassing on private property. On November 1st at 11:30 a.m., the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center took a report of a disturbance in progress occurring on private property off Woods Way Lane near Bandon. While Deputies were en-route, dispatch advised another woman had assaulted the female property owner after confronting the suspect about trespassing on the property. Capt. S. Sanborn arrived and began an investigation into the incident. Capt. Sanborn learned the suspect, Katrina V. O’Neal (46), had physically assaulted the victim and subsequently stolen property belonging to the victim during the altercation. Capt. Sanborn was advised Ms. O’Neal had fled on foot, and he provided a brief description over the radio to responding units. A few moments later, Deputy K. Mong arrived in the area and located Ms. O’Neal, a short distance away on McTimmons Road. Capt. Sanborn and Deputy Mong attempted to place Ms. O’Neal under arrest, and she actively resisted their attempts. Deputies were eventually successful in placing Ms. O’Neal under arrest without injury to her or the officers. Katrina V. O’Neal (46) was transported to the Coos County Jail on the charges of Robbery III, Assault IV, Theft I, and Resisting Arrest. Ms. O’Neal was booked and remains in custody.

Warrant Arrest, Libby Ln., Coos Bay
CCSO release – Date / Time: October 31st 2023; Case Number(s): Classification: Warrant Arrest; Location: Libby Lane / W. Dove Lane; Suspect(s): John M. Langley (39) / Richard A. Mayall (41); Patrol Deputy makes two warrant arrests on Halloween. On October 31st, 2023, at approximately 7:24 a.m., Deputy Z. Smith was on duty and observed a light blue Toyota Highlander fail to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Libby Lane and Noah Road in Coos Bay.  Deputy Z. Smith conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle for the above-stated traffic violation. John M. Langley (39), an occupant of the car, had valid warrants for his arrest and was taken into custody. Mr. Langley was charged additionally with False Information to a Peace Officer. Later during his shift, at 3:30 p.m., Deputy Z. Smith responded to West Dove Lane near North Bend for a welfare check. An involved party, Richard A. Mayall (41), was found to have a warrant for his arrest. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center confirmed the warrant, and he was placed under arrest. Both subjects were transported to the Coos County Jail, where they were booked and remain in custody.
