Assault Trout Pond Ln., Bandon
CCSO release – Date / Time: April 20th, 2023 at 5:20 p.m.; Case Number(s): S23-08679; Classification: Assault IV Domestic; Location: Trout Pond Lane, Bandon, Oregon; Suspect(s): Maxwell J. Sinko (26); Man arrested east of Bandon after Coos County Dispatch Center receives a domestic disturbance call. On April 20th, 2023, at 5:20 p.m., the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a call of a disturbance occurring on Trout Pond Lane just east of Bandon. Deputies S. Starr and B. Davis responded along with Officers from the Bandon Police Department. Upon arrival, Deputies learned that the suspect, Maxwell J. Sinko (26), had fled from the location on foot. Deputy Starr requested the assistance of Coos County K9 Cena; however, while K9 Cena was responding to assist, Deputies located Mr. Maxwell. As a result of the investigation Maxwell J. Sinko (26) of Bandon was arrested on the charge of assault IV domestic. Mr. Maxwell was transported to the Coos County Jail, where he remains in custody. Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Bandon Police Department and its staff for always being willing to assist with calls for service outside Bandon.

Attempted Burglary, East Bay Rd., North Bend
CCSO release – Date / Time: April 22nd, 2023, at 7:00 p.m.; Case Number(s): S23-08841; Classification: Attempted Burglary I, Criminal Trespass II; Location: East Bay Road, North Bend, Oregon; Suspect(s): Lanie N. Denton (26) & Tyler J. Harden (32). An attempted break-in on East Bay Road ends with a man and woman’s arrest. On April 22nd, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a report of a man and woman attempting to break into a residence on East Bay Road near North Bend. Deputies S. Starr and B. Davis responded to the area, where they observed a man and woman walking away from the reported address. Deputies contacted the pair, who were identified as Lanie N. Denton (26) and Tyler J. Harden (32), who both denied involvement and told deputies they were fishing in the area. During the investigation, Lanie and Tyler were seen attempting to break in and tamper with the property’s surveillance cameras. As a result of the investigation, Lanie N. Denton (26) and Tyler J. Harden (32) were both arrested on the charges of attempted burglary I and criminal trespass II. Lanie and Tyler were transported to the Coos County Jail, where Lanie remains in custody, and Tyler was released on his own recognizance.
