Felon with Firearm
CCSO release – On February 17, 2022 at approximately 1:36 am, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office responded to Bunker Hill 7-Eleven for a report of a suspicious vehicle with two people inside who were either sleeping or unconscious. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted Jordan D. Grundy who was in possession of a firearm. Grundy is a convicted felon and prohibited to be in possession of firearms and other restricted weapons. Grundy was arrested and charged with one count of Felon in Possession of a Firearm and transported to the Coos County Jail.

Unlawful Use of Weapon
CCSO release – On February 16, 2022, at about 10:42 AM, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Davey Jones Locker in response to a disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim and several witnesses. It was described that an altercation had broken out between the victim and 53 year old James Green regarding a theft. During the course of the altercation, James pushed the victim, and 66 year old Ronald Green menaced him with a baseball bat. James also tried to strike the victim with a bat later in the altercation. Ronald was arrested and transported to the Coos County Jail alleging Menacing and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. James was located, but the deputy not realizing who he was, was provided a false name by James. James is at large, but is wanted for Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Menacing, Harassment and Giving False Information to a Peace Officer. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Coquille Tribal Police.
