2500 Road Fire Update – 11:00 am (8.23.16) – Oregon Department of Forestry has over 220 fire fighters responding to a wild land fire involving 200-300 acres East of Depoe Bay. There are no evacuations, threat to structures or the City. Citizens are encouraged to be mindful of heavy vehicle traffic in and around Depoe Bay. The Oregon Health Authority recommends that individuals with asthma, other lung disease, or heart disease, may be more sensitive to health effects from wildfire smoke and should reduce the amount of time spent outdoors or stay inside.
