Central Coast Missing Person Update, April 26

News release Lincoln Co. Sheriff’s Office. Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office received an investigative tip over the weekend of a piece of clothing that may belong to missing person, Katy Roe. After further investigation and consultation with the family it was confirmed the article of clothing does belong to Katy Roe and was in her possession the night of her disappearance. The piece of clothing was found by a citizen in the Depoe Bay area near the shoreline. On April 17, 2016, at approximately 5:30am, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a missing person call in Depoe Bay. Deputies contacted the caller who reported her 22 year old granddaughter, Katharine “Katy” Olivia Roe, was last seen leaving the Wing Wa Restaurant around 2:00am and was reportedly walking home to her residence in the Southpoint area of Depoe Bay. When she did not arrive, the caller started searching the area and subsequently notified law enforcement.
