For the second time in a month, a retail business on the Central Oregon Coast has been victimized by an armed robbery. The first occurred August 28 at Auntie’s Vape Shop on Hwy. 101 in Lincoln City. The second occurred Sunday evening, Sept. 20, at the Lincoln City Rite Aid store on NW Logan Road. In both cases, the robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police have released a description of the Rite Aid Robbery suspect. He’s a white male, in his 50s, 5-11, 160 to 180 lbs., clean shaven, gray-brown short hair, bright blue eyes and wearing an Oregon State baseball camp with a long-sleeved black shirt or windbreaker. He approached a teller with a note demanding cash and revealed the handle of a pistol in his waistband. Anyone with information is asked to contact Lincoln City Police at (541) 994-3636.
