Blessing of the Fleet and Memorial Day Service. May 29, 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at Charleston Fisherman’s Memorial Garden, 63534 Kingfisher Road, Charleston. Cost: free. Contact: Marjorie, 541-297-2095. The annual Charleston Fisherman’s Memorial and Blessing of the Fleet will take place in the Charleston Boat Basin at 10am on Memorial Day. Names added to the memorial will be read and flowers in memory will be taken to sea by the U.S. Coast Guard. The South Coast Pipes and Drums will play. Cake and Coffee served afterwards at the Charleston Church.
