A 48-year old Port Orford male was arrested Thursday, June 25 following the execution of a search warrant at his home. Christopher Alan Sypher was taken into custody by Curry County Sheriff’s deputies following a lengthy investigation aided by the Oregon Department of Justice Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the FBI. Sypher was charged with 15-counts of Encouraging Child Sexual Abuse in the Second Degree and was lodged in the County Jail at Gold Beach.
