Discover a new perspective on trees in Coos County when you join the Coos History Museum on December 7th, 2021 at 6:30 PM for our next First Tuesday Talk program. This month’s talk will be about “Christmas Trees on the Coast Range” presented by Jeff Maddess, Tree Grower and Teacher from Stonehouse Trees. Jeff will provide a fresh cut on local history and Christmas tree farming on the southern Oregon coast. He will share with us some in-tree-guing information about how to own and manage a Christmas tree farm and you may even leave the museum with a special “treet.” So, be sure to visit us for this tree-mendous presentation! The museum will be open from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM with the talk beginning at 6:30 PM. This program is available to all, with an admission fee of $7 for non-members (payable at the door) or free with your CHM membership. The talk will also be available via Zoom, but a recording of this talk will not be available so be sure to come in or tune in! If you are joining us in person, keep in mind that there will be a limit of 30 attendees, and if you are joining us online please consider providing a donation of $5.00 to help support the First Tuesday Talk program.
