The Coos History Museum celebrates local women for Women’s History Month by bringing back our annual March tea. All are welcome on Friday, March 22 from 12 PM to 2:30 PM, for inspiring presentations from local women, an exclusive look at items from the museum’s collection, and delicious finger food, sweets, and tea. Presentations are to be given by Paula Bechtold (Retired Judge), Annie Pollard (7 Devils Brewing), Sire Pro (Coos History Museum), and Ashley Russell (Interim Director Culture and Natural Resources CTCLUSI). An exclusive exhibit featuring the outfits of women and tea sets from local history will be on view for this event only. Registration is strongly encouraged and a limited number of seats are available. Ticket price includes beverages and catered tea faire including finger foods and sweets. Admission to this program is $40 for members and $45 for non-members. Private tables of 8 are also available for $325 but must be reserved in advance. Registration is available over the phone, in person, or online. This tea is open to everyone, it is not exclusive to women. Invite your friends, family, or loved ones to learn a little more about local women’s history and hear presentations from inspiring local women in our community.
