Marshfield grad Jared Bassett won the annual Circle the Bay road run Saturday around Coos Bay. The Mountain View, of Bend, coach took the 18.6-mile race in 45:44. It’s the third time for the former State of Oregon high school champion won his hometown race. Bassett ran for the University of Portland during his collegiate days.
