Employees at City Hall will be participating in a Tsunami Evacuation Drill on Friday, June 29th. This exercise is being coordinated by the City’s Safety Committee in an effort to remind staff to be prepared for emergencies. Because City Hall is within the anticipated inundation area for a tsunami generated by a local earthquake, drills like this should be practiced regularly. The drill will begin at roughly 4:00 pm, and City Hall will be closed for the duration of the exercise.
