City Administrator David Milliron – North Bend City Hall will be closed on Friday, December 24, 2021, and Friday, December 31, 2021, in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. For non-emergencies, please call 541-756-3161 (e.g., sewer back-ups, street issues, etc.). This is a time to gather with loved ones, look back on the year, and give thanks for all we have. But as we celebrate the holidays, let’s take a moment to recognize the brave public safety professionals who won’t have that luxury. They will be on duty, fulfilling their responsibility to keep the public healthy and safe. Fire Dept. – Staff and volunteers began preparations for our “Kids at Christmas” program. We provide food and gifts for 10-20 families in need, as identified by our North Bend School District partners. We will be delivering to the families on December 22. The funds we receive from our annual Christmas tree pick-up, where we canvas the town disposing of trees, go directly to our “Kids at Christmas” program. This year we will be picking up trees on January 8, 2022. Library – The library will be closed Friday, December 24 through Sunday, December 26, and Friday, December 31 through Sunday, January 2 for the holidays. The library will be open from 10 am to 6 pm Monday, December 27 through Thursday, December 30.
