Two days after having a career game against the Beavers’ arch rival, sophomore center Ruth Hamblin one-upped herself on Monday night in Gill Coliseum. The 6-foot-6 Canadian notched OSU’s first triple-double in 30 years, scoring 23 points, grabbing 12 rebounds and blocking a school-record 10 shots to lead the Oregon State women’s basketball team to an 84-70 win over Oregon in the Civil War. The victory handed the Beavers a season sweep of the Ducks (9-6, 0-4) for the third consecutive year and was OSU’s seventh-straight win in the series. Oregon State is now 10-6 overall and 2-2 in Pac-12 play.
