Jeff Hendrix’s sacrifice fly with one out in the 12th inning proved to be the game-winner for second-ranked Oregon State baseball team over Oregon, 4-3, Tuesday night at PK Park.  Hendrix lined a 1-0 pitch from Oregon reliever Jordan Spencer into right field, enabling Logan Ice, who had singled to open the 12th, to come in from third. It was Hendrix’s third run batted in of the game snapped a 3-3 tie that had been in place since the fourth inning.  Hendrix ended the night with two hits – both doubles – as the Beavers (35-8 overall) improved to 18-1 this season when he bats in the leadoff spot.  Oregon is 34-14 on the season.
