The outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast was rocked by four earthquakes Wednesday and early Thursday morning off of Northern California and the Southern Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 4.9-magnitude quake was located west of Crescent City, CA Friday morning. A 4.1-magnitude west to southwest of Pistol River in Curry Co., Wednesday, A 4.5-magnitude west of Indianola, CA Friday, and a 3.3-magnitude Wednesday West to Southwest of Pistol River, OR.
