Two North Oregon Coast hikers, stranded on rocks with crashing waves surrounding them south of Cannon Beach, were rescued Sunday, Nov. 17, by a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter from Astoria. The two were stranded just before noon and hoisted safely from the rocks by an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter. No one was injured.
