Coastal Forest Roads workshop at OSU Extension in Myrtle Point, March 31

Use your road maintenance dollars effectively. Learn to assess your existing road for potential problems and prioritize repairs. Workshop covers maintenance and improvement techniques, water quality and aquatic habitat concerns, regulations, contracts, technical and financial assistance available to small woodland owners. Bring a photo of your road trouble spot for discussion. Morning classroom and afternoon field session with hands-on exercises to evaluate an existing road, and discuss option for maintenance and improvement. For the field session we will carpool/drive to a site near the Myrtle Point Office.  Saturday, April 1, 2017 9am-3pm. $35 per person, includes roads handbook and lunch.
