A Cold Forging copper Cuffs Workshop will be held at the South Slough on Saturday, June 30, 2018,  1 pm, South Slough National Estuary Interpretive Center, Charleston.  Join coppersmith and salvage artist Joni Bour to learn the art of cold forging and Hammersmithing, Create gorgeous wearable art pieces using salvaged and up cycled copper refrigerator hardware with accents in other mediums. Seating is limited, and all students MUST provide their own protective eyewear. All other materials, tools, and supplies will be provided. [Max-12] ($25/person) Unless otherwise noted, all programs begin at the South Slough Reserve Interpretive Center, located 4 miles south of Charleston on Seven Devils Road. Programs may be cancelled due to low enrollment or hazardous weather. Activity fees and donations cover materials and are used by the Friends of South Slough Reserve, Inc. in support of the Reserve.
