CBPL release – Participate in a community art project by painting a tile at the Coos Bay Public Library! Beginning December 19 and continuing through December 30, the Library is asking members of the public to paint a tile which demonstrates hopes and dreams for Coos Bay and/or what the Library means to you. Tiles will remain the property of the Library and will be put on display after being fired. All ages are welcome to participate. Tiles will be available to paint during the Library’s regular operating hours. This program is made possible through funding from the Coos County Cultural Coalition which provides support for arts programming throughout Coos County. The program is the final program in a series of workshops offered at the Coos Bay Public Library in 2022 which fostered intergenerational, community art opportunities.
