Coos Art Museum announces the People’s Choice Award winner for the 21st Annual Maritime Art Exhibition, Sept. 15

The votes have been counted and Jeffrey Hull of Cannon Beach, Oregon will receive Coos Art Museum’s 21st Annual Maritime Art Exhibition People’s Choice Award for his watercolor “Song of the Sea.” Hull has been a frequent participant in past Coos Art Museum Annual Maritime Art Exhibitions and has been featured on Oregon Art Beat an Emmy award winning weekly television series produced by Oregon Public Broadcasting. He is also a signature member of the prestigious American Society of Marine Artists. The 21st Annual Maritime Art Exhibition continues at Coos Art Museum until September 27. Coos Art Museum has been a cultural focal point of Oregon’s scenic Southern Coast since 1966. It occupies the historic 1936 Art Deco US Federal Building in downtown Coos Bay. The Museum offers a wide range of arts activities including exhibitions, art classes and lectures. Hours are 10:00am to 4:00pm, Tuesday through Friday and 1:00 to 4:00 pm on Saturday. Museum admission: $5 general, $2 students, veterans and seniors, free to Museum members.
