Coos Bay Fire Department Cleans Up Ocean Blvd., Sept. 12

On Sunday, September 14, 2014 between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm, motorists may see Coos Bay Firefighters walking Ocean Boulevard picking up trash along the roadway. The Firefighters are donating their time to prepare Ocean Boulevard for the upcoming Prefontaine Memorial Run scheduled for September 20, 2014. We take extreme pride in our community, and we want our visitors to see the natural beauty that this area offers. The City asks for motorists to be aware of the increased pedestrian presence on the roadway and to use increased caution when traveling through this area.
