A Coos Bay male over the age of 60, who recently returned from an RV trip to other states, has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus according to officials with Coos Health & Wellness. The male reportedly started showing symptoms of the virus Sunday and was tested positive at Bay Area Hospital Wednesday night. He had a cough, fever and was experiencing shortness of breath. The male’s wife did not show symptoms of the virus, but she also had not been tested.
