Structure Fire
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Tuesday, Dec. 30, 3:56 a.m., 1400 block Pennsylvania Ave., “assist fire dept. with structure fire.” It was the historic Englewood Elementary School building that was destroyed. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway. No one was injured. Mutual Aid was provided by local fire departments.

According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Tuesday, Dec. 30, 1:59 a.m., Newmark & Morrison, 24-year old Mickey Clayton Meade charged with DUII and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Monday, Dec. 29, 4:43 p.m., Newmark & Empire, 25-yea rold Joshua Alan Lincoln arrested on charges of Criminal Mischief II and Robbery II.
Located
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Monday, Dec. 29, 10:58 a.m., Schetter & Wall, “located wanted subject as result of traffic stop,” 39-year old Trevor Welch charged with DWS Misdemeanor, and CCSO warrant charging Unlawful Possession of Meth and State Parole & Probation warrant charging Probation Violation. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Burglary
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Monday, Dec. 29, 9:39 a.m., 1700 block of Newmark Ave., 59-year old male reported “burglary.”
