“Ocean Boulevard Water Main Replacement Project” – The Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board’s water main replacement project on Ocean Boulevard will require some night time work. The next night time work period begins Thursday, September 4 at 6:00 p.m. and finishes that evening by 9:00 p.m. The Water Board’s contractor, Laskey-Clifton Corporation, will be installing a large concrete vault near the intersection of Ocean Boulevard and Woodland Drive. The portion of Woodland Drive between Ocean Boulevard and Ocean Boulevard frontage road will be closed for the three hour duration with detour to / from N. 19th Street. Continuous traffic flow will be maintained on Ocean Boulevard during this work period. Motorists should use caution and reduce speeds through the construction area.
