Coos Bay Rail Line Board, Oct. 29

The Board of Directors of the Coos Bay Rail Line, Inc. will hold a Special Board Meeting at 12:30 p.m., Monday, October 29, 2018, in the Port’s Commission Chambers, located at 125 West Central Avenue, Suite 230, Coos Bay, Oregon 97420. Lunch will be provided for Board members. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lunch. Many local businesses offer boxed and to-go lunches. Please feel free to contact any of them to purchase a meal to bring to the meeting, or feel free to bring your own. An Executive Session has also been scheduled on Monday, October 29, 2018, immediately after the Board Meeting, in the Port’s Commission Chambers, located at 125 West Central Avenue, Suite 230, Coos Bay, Oregon 97420, as authorized under ORS 192.660(2), to: (h) consult with counsel concerning the legal rights and duties of a public body with regard to current litigation or litigation likely to be filed; (j) carry on negotiations under ORS Chapter 293 with private persons or businesses regarding proposed acquisition, exchange or liquidation of public investments; and (n) discuss information about review or approval of programs relating to the security of a number of specified structures, activities and materials relevant to the operation of the state’s infrastructure.
