The City of Coos Bay Tree Board will meet on Thursday, March 6, 2014, 4:00 PM, Coos Bay City Hall, Manager’s Conference Room. AGENDA: CALL TO ORDER – Roll Call – Approval of the Minutes; CITIZEN INPUT / PUBLIC COMMENT – UNFINISHED BUSINESS – REQUESTS FOR REMOVAL – • Across from 299 B Street – Trees along fence line of school. Suzanne Calvert – Needles plugging drains, street gutters. Limbs hitting cars, fire trucks are not able to get to side of the street. They block house from getting sunshine. (See Suzanne’s letter of 1/27/14.); • 1495 Juniper – Mike Humphrey – Alder trees are leaning and in danger of hitting deck and house if they should fall in a wind storm. Staff Review/Recommendation: Remove trees at adjoining owners expense. • Life/Safety Removal 02/19/14 – John Toppit’s Park – Safety concern, soil has eroded away from roots and tree is ready to fall causing public safety concern. NEW BUSINESS – • Letter to City Manager, Rodger Craddock – Tree Board and CB Municipal Code; • Revised Form: Tree Removal Request in Right of Way; BOARD MEMBER COMMENTS; Meeting will adjourn at 5:00 p.m.
