A 32-year old Coos Bay woman was killed in Fortuna, CA Sunday, Jan. 5, when a vehicle rolled into her and pinned her against a building about 2 p.m. Victoria Adele Pruett owned the vehicle and may have been working on it when it rolled and pinned her against a vacant apartment. Fortuna Police say the cause of death was blunt force trauma. No autopsy was planned, but the investigation is continuing.
