The excitement for this year’s Coos County Fair “American Pride, County Wide” is building.  The annual Summer-Time event is set for July 23-27 at the Fairgrounds in Myrtle Point.  Along with the Rodeo Friday & Saturday evening, the Fair also offers 4-H displays, animal exhibits and even the 4-H Livestock Auction on Saturday.  Floral and commercial exhibits surround Rainier Amusement’s carnival rides.  Oh and the Fair Food, good for all ages!  Those interested in purchasing carnival ride wristbands can do so online from InteractiveTicketing.com
https://secure.interactiveticketing.com/1.26/cca878/  Admission prices this year:  Children up to five are free all five days, those 6-17 years of age will pay a $4 except Thursday when the price is discounted to $2.  Adults will pay $8 Tuesday & Wednesday, $10 Thursday, Friday & Saturday.  Seniors will get a discount to $4 on Wednesday, $8 Tuesday & Thursday and $10 Friday & Saturday.  Military/Veterans are $8 Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, $5 on Friday & $10 Saturday.  Season tickets are $10 for a child (6-17), and $40 for an adult at the gate.  Pre-Sale adult season passes cost $30. The Coos County Fair began in 1912.  Entertainment this year includes: Adams the Great – Magic Rockstar daily.  On the Main Stage:  Border Patrol & Parmalee on Wednesday, Tracy Byrd on Thursday, and Billy Lund & Whiskey Weekend Thursday, Friday & Saturday.
