Opening ceremonies for the 105th Coos Co. Fair & Rodeo in Myrtle Pt. will take place at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 25. No county meetings are scheduled during Fair Week. “Blue Ribbon Pride & 8 Second Rides” is the theme of this year’s Fair which will run through Saturday night. Chuck & Judy King are serving as the Grand Marshalls this year, while Tori Marie Renard reigns as Queen. Half-price admission specials are offered on Senior Day – Wednesday; Kid’s Day – Thursday; and, Patriot’s Day – Friday. The Annual Coos Co. Fair Parade is Saturday morning, 10 a.m. on the streets of Myrtle Pt., and the Rodeo takes place Friday & Saturday night.
