Coos Co. Animal Damage Control Advisory Committee
The Coos Co. Board of Commissioners is soliciting applications for the Animal Damage Control Advisory Committee. There are two positions open at this time for representatives of: Cattle Producers and Oregon Hunters Association. Coos Co. Vector Assessment & Control Advisory Committee
The Coos Co. Board of Commissioner is soliciting application for the newly formed Vector Assessment & Control Advisory Committee. The committee will consist of 10 citizens each representing: Coos Co. Livestock Association; Coos Co. Public Health; Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife; US Fish & Wildlife Services, Hospitality & Tourism Industry; and five citizens who reside in Coos County, with preference to bee keepers, cranberry growers and the organic produce community. This committee will advise the Board of Commissioners on various matters, including protecting public health, safety and quality of life, controlling the possible spread of disease & protecting agricultural products and commercial businesses. Terms for committee members will be staggered initially for 1, 2, or 3 years, and then each term will be for a period of three years.
