Like some of our neighboring counties, Coos County answered the call from California for assistance from a search and rescue team. The Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office Search & Rescue Team was deployed Sunday, Nov. 18 to the “Camp Fire” at Paradise, CA, a town destroyed by the state’s wildfires. Along with two SAR members, Coos County also sent a K-9 Tracking & Cadaver dog to help in the search for the missing residents in the area.
