News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. “On 07 January, 2014 at about 7:00 PM, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies, Lakeside Fire, and Lower Umpqua Ambulance were dispatched to a report of a single vehicle motor vehicle crash on Hilltop Road in Lakeside, Oregon. Investigation indicated the driver of the Gold Kia Rio was intoxicated. Clarence Grisham, 77 years old, was arrested and transported to the North Bend Police Department where an analysis of his breath indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.09%. He was issued a criminal citation for DUII – Alcohol and later released. Mr. Grisham was the only occupant in the vehicle and was not injured.”

News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. “On 07 January, 2014 at about 11:30 PM, a Coos County Deputy making security checks of the Charleston Boat Basin business area located a white GMC truck with its lights on and engine running in an empty parking lot. The Deputy investigated the vehicle and found an unconscious male slumped in the drivers seat. Investigation indicated John R. Bader, 41 years old, was operating the vehicle under the influence of intoxicants. Mr. Bader was arrested and transported to the Coos County Jail where an analysis of his breath indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.19%. Mr. Bader was issued a criminal citation and later released.”
